Recertified Business Computer Warranty

ONE YEAR LIMITED HARDWARE WARRANTY POLICY

All computer hardware that has been recertified by Verit Labs Inc. comes with a full 1-year limited hardware warranty.  This Limited Warranty is provided by Verit Labs, Inc. to the original purchaser (“Customer”) of HP business class Desktop or Laptop computer systems (“Product”) recertified by Verit Labs, Inc. and is effective from the date of purchase.

1. Warranty Coverage

For a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date, this warranty covers:

  • Parts replacement
  • Labor and service
  • Hardware repairs
  • Defective components

System functionality issues caused by manufacturing defects:

Verit Labs, Inc. warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

2. What Is Covered

This warranty includes:

  • Internal components (motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage drive, power supply, cooling fans, etc.)
  • Display (for laptops)
  • Keyboard and trackpad (for laptops)
  • Graphics card (if applicable)
  • Ports, connectors, and built-in peripherals

 

Verit Labs, Inc.  will, at its discretion:

Repair the defective part, or

Replace it with a new or refurbished part of equal or better performance, or

Replace the entire system if necessary.

All replacement parts become the property of Verit Labs, Inc.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage (drops, cracks, liquid spills, fire, power surges, misuse, or abuse)
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Software issues, viruses, or data loss
  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, cosmetic damage)
  • Battery degradation due to normal use
  • Accessories not originally included with the system
  • Issues caused by improper installation or improper electrical supply

4. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To request service, the Customer must:

  • Contact Verit Labs directly and contact your Verit Labs assigned service provider
  • Provide proof of purchase and serial number
  • Describe the issue with the system

 

Verit Labs, Inc. may require troubleshooting before approving a repair or replacement.

If the Product must be shipped, Verit Labs, Inc.  may provide instructions for safe return.

5. Data Responsibility

The Customer is responsible for backing up all data before any service is performed. Verit Labs, Inc. is not responsible for data loss, software, or personal files.

6. Replacement Warranty

Any replacement parts or systems provided will be covered for the remainder of the original 1-year warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

7. Limitation of Liability

Verit Labs, Inc. shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of business
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Indirect or incidental damages

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.

8. Warranty Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless authorized in writing.

9. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the state in which the Product was purchased.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, VERIT LABS, INC. DISCLAIMS AND MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OF MERCHANTABILITY.  IN NO EVENT SHALL VERIT LABS, INC. BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUCH AS DATA LOSS, LOSS OF PROFITS OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OR FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST THE CUSTOMER FOR DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL VERIT LABS, INC.’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT(S).

SOME STATES, PROVINCES, JURISDICTIONS OR COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY.
